5no need to grow nails  Oct 10, 2011 By Paul J. Marsjanik
works really well. If you do not like to keep finger nails, these are for you. Takes some getting used to and they fit tight, sometimes too tight, but the extra large could fit on a sausage. I use the large and simply deal with lack of circulation. They are plastic and adjustable. Nothing comes close to being as good that I've found.

5Love these things.  Sep 11, 2011 By Bankster Rap
I can't speak for other guitarist, but I love these things. I'm getting old and my finger nails are worthless. The Alaska Piks allow me to keep playing my guitar. Not expensive, so I keep plenty on hand at all times.

4Alaska Piks are GRREEAT1  Aug 19, 2011 By Anthony Pistilli
Have started finger picking and could not keep my finger nails long enough to do a decent job. I started getting Acrylic Nails but they were not reliable and they were bad for my health. Required redo two to four weeks. Nails would not grow underneath them. I tried the Alaska Pik, first the large ones, but found that I needed extra large for at least the middle finger and could use Large for index. They take a little getting use to and may require adjustment with a file or clip. But once you fit them, they work great.

5Excellent  Dec 07, 2007 By Ken Matthews
Nothen beats using your own finger nail. But these come real close. Specially when you break a nail, or waiting till your nails grow out a tad. . These are the next best thing.. Excellent product..
