4Good basic music stand  Sep 06, 2006 By L A.
My young son started taking saxophone lessons and needed a basic folding music stand. I wanted to buy one without spending a lot of money and this one made both of us happy. The stand folds easily and is well constructed of sturdy stainless steel. It has proven to be durable and is a good value.

5great portable stand  Nov 15, 2010 By KatieDid "dogear"
I needed a stand tall enough for me to use when I play standing up--I'm 5'-10"--and this one works for me. I've heard others say that this model is wobbly and unstable, but mine is very well made and sturdy. When I take it on a gig I make copies of the music that will be played for that engagement and put them in a 3-ring binder, so I don't need to carry a stash of books which could overload the stand. However, it will hold a 1" ring binder and a 1/4" spiral binder easily. The extensions slide down inside for packing, so there are only 2 pieces to stow in the case. Couldn't ask for a better travelling stand at any price. I say travelling, but it is my one and only stand.

5Great stand for the money  Jun 30, 2011 By Robert
Finally a stand that brings the music up to a readable level so I can stand, play, and read the sheet at the same time !!! I got the matching bag it fits like a glove and it had a handy strap on it. Hamilton KB10 Bag for KB600N StandThe stand doesn't look like it can handle extremely heavy loads but it holds my 3 ring binder w/30 pages no sweat !

1Hamilton Folding Stand, Chrome Finish, 3 section, 59-inch extension  Apr 16, 2011 By Nadathur
Hamilton Folding Stand, Chrome Finish, 3 section, 59-inch extension

We are having the same problem of the top clamp not working. So we can never use the stand in the 59" extension. I have written to Sharmusic about this. This happened within 60 days of purchasing this product, it seemed to work OK for the 30 days the company allows returns. Very disappointing.

1Disappointed: collapses with no music  Apr 07, 2011 By mandoman
The bottom section stays in place, and the base locks in position, but the top section doesn't stay up and slides down even with nothing on it. This makes the entire top section rather useless. I don't know if this one is defective, but I would not buy this again.
