Usually ships in 2-3 business days | | | | | | When you think about the classic wah-wah sounds of the 60s, you think about British bluesmen and psychedelic American rockers, not Italy. But those Sunshine-y and Foxey tones could not have existed without the Italian-made Fasel inductors that were in the first wah pedals-including the original Crybaby. These inductors were the key to the pedals' tone, but have been unavailable for years. Not anymore. Your Crybaby Classic with Fasel Inside will faithfully recreate the vocal sweep and lush harmonics from those timeless recordings. Plug in your Crybaby Classic and hear what you've been missing. Features: Heavy die cast construction for years of reliability, 100K ohm Hot Potz potentiometer that allows for that quick, abrupt wah sound. The "Best" Wah Pedal - Ever! Jan 07, 2006
By Robert Hedrick
"Avid Shopper"
I have used and reviewed a few pedals - ranging from the Buddah, to Dunlop's Crybaby line, not to mention the many others..
This Wah pedal is the absolute best out there, anywhere. The Italian man "Fasel Inductor" is the heart of the sound that comes from this rock-solid tank-like beast of a Wah pedal.
I play music ranging from Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Sabbath, BB King, and Zakk Wylde, etc.. And I now refuse to play music from any of those artists / bands without my Crybaby Classic. In fact, it'll be in my pedal arsenal right next to my PODxt, until the day I die.
The overall quality of this pedal is unmeasurable, and I simply can't say enough good things about it.
Buy this pedal - you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Sound Sep 23, 2006
By TJ Mott This wah pedal is amazing. The only reason I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the description was incorrect. You cannot adjust the sound of the wah the way it says. The only tone adjustment, of course, is the wah effect itself, you can't "shape" the sound of the wah like the description says. However, it is still a good, solid pedal, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a wah pedal.

Amazing pedal! Apr 18, 2011

Its incredible how this pedal sounds with a Strat!, the bightness of single coils achieves a unique sound and power that I never seen before, I have a Original CryBaby GCB95 too but it does not sound like a fassel wah at all maybe because It seems to cut the clean sound of a Strat (but still this is a very good wah too), now I figure out why Jimmy Hendrix and Yngwie Malmsteen have used it along their career and they keep it using as a part of their amazing sound, I'm very happy with this pedal and I'll play it as long as I can live...

Keep on Cryin'! Jan 18, 2011

If you want the Wah sound that is the staple of classic rock, look no further. The Crybaby is the original and remains the choice of the greats of rock up to the present. The warm tone and variability are unmatched by any imitator. Choose the Classic over the standard because you get the original Fazel inductors that provide the slightly warmer sound than the standard unit. The Fasel inductors weren't available from Italy for a number of years so until recently unless you found a late '60's or early 70's era Crybaby you couldn't get that exact, classic sound. The difference between the two is minor but for the price difference go with the Classic. You won't be disappointed.

The Classic Wah :) Aug 16, 2010
By Snowdog This is the classic crybaby sound! A very well made pedal with true bypass and the classic Fasel inductor. A favorite pedal of many great guitarists and a must have for me on my pedalboard. Give it a try...you will like it!
