 Great sustain and feeling May 03, 2009

I find the sound of the slide guitar very attractive and I like to experiment with different materials; this ceramic slide has a bit of the mellow sound of porcelain and gives me highs as well, it provides great sustain compared to glass or metal.
I use it on a 12-string acoustic guitar in standard tuning, the slide is not very light-weight but high action on the strings is not required, just a little attention at the beginning of the phrasing.
The inner surface is rough and that *helps a lot* when the finger gets wet. It is well manufactured.

Has a great sound and doesn't slide off your finger. Be sure to buy a size larger than you think you will need because the sizing runs small.

Quick delivery and I like the sound this slide creates. Buy larger than normal as tight fit otherwise. I ended up buying again in a larger size, but kept both.

I ordered this slide at 2pm on a Thursday and received at 11am the next day! Amazon is truly on top of their game!
The slide is nice change of pace because of the material it is made from. No sweaty finger using this slide. It is a little heavier than the glass or metal slide I have, but the weight helps give a nice smooth tone.
The medium I ordered fits my pinky just right.

love the feel of this slide. sound is perfect. size is not too large so med is an average size but kinda wish it was a tad bigger. but all and all it works ok!
