I am writing this review because the product is excellent, and that is what you are supposed to be reviewing. the product, not the seller. thats why there are product reviews and seller reviews. and yes this product is now shipped through musicians friend. It is comfortable to hold and use, great tone.
review the product for what it is for the purpose of other buyers looking for a good product. not as a means to voice your opinion on the seller.

I ordered a different (slightly cheaper) slide before this one, and then had to order the Lap Dawg because the other didn't feel right (too narrow/etc.).
This Dawg has a great, natural curve and is super easy/comfortable to hold (I'm a girl with small fingers, and I know some guys who have big meaty hands that also love this slide).

This Dunlop Lap Dawg feels really smooth and has great tone. It's shaped only slightly different than the traditional Stevens Bar but just enough to rest between the fingers nicely yet have plenty of mass on the bottom where it meets the string. Hence, great tone and easy gripping. Smooth chrome finish. Great for playing Dobro or 6 string lap steel. Pedal steel players might require the longer version. Highly recommended piece of gear!

This Slide is really comfortable and provides excellent tonal voicing when used on an acoustic lap guitar.
the weight is just right and fits the hand exactly.

I recently purchased a Jim Dunlop 926 Lap Dawg Jim Dunlop 926 Lap Dawg 5.1-Oz 3/4-Diasteel guitar slide on Amazon at about one third of the price of my local music shop. It is cetainly a good piece of merchandise. The ergonomics and finish are superb, as I have come to expect from Jim Dunlop products over my lifetime. I'm 53 and have been a guitarist since 1967 so I've seen the guitar industry grow from an industry where there was only one brand of strings in my local music shop to the multibilllion dollar industry it it today. It is no wonder that Jim Dunlop has held it's place in the market. No comprimise on quality. Good on ya' Jim.
