4Good, just not quite right for me  Jan 12, 2009 By Jimmy Parsons "jimus83"
This item is exactly as described. It's just not quite as heavy as I need, but it's my fault for not checking first. Price is excellent, though.

5awesome product  Sep 03, 2010 By DS
im a guitarist whos been playing for a few years, and i like doing all kinds of music. a guitar slide is used mostly in blues, and some rock guitarists use it occasionally like jimmy page, eric clapton, jeff beck, joe perry. i wanted to try it, and this was the first guitar slide i saw when i looked for one. its cheap, works great, plays anything well. i figured out some techniques on my own, then talked to my guitar teacher. slides are cool, and i learned some things about blues and some other licks. cool product - get it.

5Sweet  Dec 11, 2011 By G. Thomas "Tom"
Sweet "twangy" sound that is a flash from the past of steel lap guitars. I have a ceramic and this steel slide. Each has a unique sound. The steel as expected has more of brighter twang. When I change my strings, I know that I'll get some differences in tonal quality, but hey, experimenting for that sound that reaches us is what keeps all of us buying new toys.

4Good slide, a bit small though  Dec 15, 2010 By aceofbase
Good cheap basic metal slide, sounds like it should. Only problem is I prefer to wear it on my ring finger but I have big hands (viz XL and XXL gloves) and the slide is too small to fit except on my little finger. A bit annoying but not the slide's fault I guess!

5Exactly what I was hoping for as a beginner!  Feb 01, 2012 By Arachne
This was purchased as my very first slide, and I don't regret it. Affordable, sounds good, fits across all the strings of my lap steel guitar, and most shockingly... fits my finger well. I'm a woman with somewhat slim fingers, and I was concerned that the slide would be gigantic on me. It turns out it fits nicely and doesn't go wobbling all over the place. I went looking for this brand again when I got my glass slide, and was pleased yet again.

The packaging from the manufacturer is very reasonable, but Amazon encased it in a comparatively HUGE box for shipping, which was my only qualm.
