pretty good, if this is your style Aug 22, 2010
By K. Vatev Well, what can I say... Since this product creates the mood to mention other reviews, both reviews for this product are wrong and right in their own ways (and of course, they are opinions, so feel free to ignore mine too).
Anyway, I find that this slide is actually quite small. It is loose fitting for my ring finger, but it is a bit tight on my middle finger. This depends on your style of course, and that is why they come in sizes.
As far as bending your finger or not, this is also a style issue. If you rest your guitar on your lap, then yes, you want the slide to go all the way down your finger (and tune your guitar in open D). However, if yo play it like a guitar, then you definitely want to bend your slide finger, so that you can still use your other fingers to finger chords or select notes. This slide is really meant for the second style.
Contrary to how the picture looks, this is clear glass. Things easily get stuck to it (oils from your hands, and dust), so make sure you clean it before using it. Also, this slide sounds exactly like a glass slide is supposed to sound (yes, there is a difference between glass and metal).
The best thing I can tell you is to get both, and test out which you like better, because as with anything with music, this all depends on your style and the sound you want to produce.
Clear sound - but don't drop it Feb 10, 2012

Clear sounding slider works pretty good in the studio. I did drop it a couple times (ok, maybe more than a couple) on the wood floors of stages without a problem. Then one day, in the frigidly cold outdoors, I dropped it on a concrete floor and it completely shattered, oops.
Well Made Product! Nov 19, 2011
By Tony Medero This item was exactly what I was looking for. It sounds great sliding down my strat to enhance my bands performance. I guarantee you this slider will meet your needs.
It's decent Jul 25, 2011
By Jonathan Hefner It's not bad. It would be better if I bought one large enough for my finger. Still, I'd rather stick with a Copper slide.
I like it! May 26, 2011
By Kerry My first glass slide. After 30 years of steel, I ventured into new territory and am very pleased. The glass slide is easier to play. At $4 it is a great value.
