Love these picks! Feb 27, 2012
By smontes Admittedly, I'm VERY new to guitar playing. I was so excited when I ordered my first guitar, but the myriad of accessories out there was overwhelming. I opted to get myself some rubber grip medium picks. I was happy with those.. until I bought these.
After following a lesson system online I heard the instructor say that for strumming you should be using .38mm picks - super thin, nearly paper-like. I almost didn't buy them because I thought he was nuts since it seemed to me like you should have something more sturdy(naivete at it's finest).
Once I got these, I gave a nice strum on my guitar and was shocked at the difference in sound it produced compared to my medium picks.
It's beautiful and clear sounding. I just love it and it gave me new inspiration for learning this amazing instrument.
I can't provide any "technical" details on them - I just know that I love them. They don't slip from my fingers.. they don't break.. they sound beautiful.

Great Picks! Jul 06, 2010
By BBgui It comes in a pack of 12 picks. They are really flexible and great for strumming. Very good quality because i've seen other really thin picks that break within weeks of regular use. If you like to do a more controlled picking style you might want thicker picks.
Cheap, crappy sound with these picks Mar 13, 2012
By Jennifer Robertson I am a relatively new guitar player as I've only been playing a few months. I have found that I really like the feel of the thinner picks, they don't seem to have the sharp "chingy-chingy" sound of the thicker picks for playing rhythm. The thinnest I had tried up until this point was a .46mm but I wanted to give these a shot just to see if I might like these picks that were even thinner.
Well I got them today and I can already tell that I won't be playing with them. My guitar that has always had really nice, rich, mellow sound suddenly sounds tinny and cheap, like it was one of those children's guitars you can buy for $35 at Wal-Mart. I switch back to my other, thicker, celluloid picks and the beautiful rich tone is back. I am unsure at this point whether it is just the paper thin measure of the picks or the different material that makes it sound so terrible.
Maybe someone with a bit more experience that knows what they are getting into would be happier with these.
Very unhappy with this product and will be sending it back for a refund.
On another, better note, the package was shipped and arrived on the exact day they estimated, the packaging was good. Happy with the experience of the purchase, just not the product itself. That's why I gave 2 stars instead of one, just because Amazon made the experience a pleasant one.
Good for learning to strum Mar 06, 2012
By H. Easter They're very thin nylon picks. They're good for practicing the hand motions of strumming; they put up very little resistance, so they train you to keep your hand stable. I still sometimes play with them since they give a really nice bright tone, but I usually want something thicker in order to be able to flatpick melody lines in between strums. I also sometimes use them when practicing flatpicking, since flatpicking with a really thin pick reveals things about your body mechanics that you don't notice with a thicker pick.
They're great for what they are (thin, flexible picks), and Amazon has the best price.
I like these thin picks Feb 14, 2012
By Steve Fleischer I have enjoyed using these picks. I am a beginning guitar player and using a thin gauge pick like this makes strumming much easier.
