5Very nice stand, but attracts cats  Jan 18, 2009 By R. Plemmons "deltadad"
I'm very happy with this guitar stand as it holds my guitars securely while leaving them readily available to play. It looks great, just like an old Fender guitar case. Two minor quibbles, however. First, I have a square neck Dobro and the neck is too big for the slot on this stand. Second, the plush lining is an irresistable attractant for cats if you plan on leaving it open at home. Can't solve the Dobro problem without sawing on the guitar stand (which I'm reluctant to do). The cat problem has been solved by using a home-made cover, limiting access slightly, but better than getting rid of the family pets.

4Functional and Looks Great  Dec 24, 2010 By Carl - NYC
My Fender 7 arrive earlier than projected, which was a nice surprise. Aesthetically it is poppin: the classic Fender tweed case provides a pretty slick foundation for the red plush stand and separator inserts. The stand sets up in less than 2 minutes. One of the clasps is not accurately centered for a flush fit but that is a minor defect for me, certainly not one requiring a return or repair. The bottom dividers are movable so you can easily store both acoustics and electrics (I have a Martin D-28 right next to a fretless Jazz bass). One slot remained empty after setting it up with guitars worthy of display, so I went out and bought a sweet '99 USA Lonestar Sunburst Strat to fill in the empty space as a Christmas present to myself (so much better than a Red Rider 200 shot carbine action 200 shot BB gun that I would probably shoot my eye out with anyway). Bottom line: anything that makes me go out and get another guitar is worth purchasing.
