This Fender case is exactly what I expected, high quality and good looks. It's very sturdy and should take a lot of abuse over the years. Much classier than the plastic case.

It survived making it out here with me to my deployment so I should say its durable enough to be thrown around by baggage handlers. The two locking latches on the outside are a nice touch, I like the way they open and close, very durable feeling. The interior is plush enough, doesn't scream hi-end product but it works for me. If it can make it through a half-year deployment without falling apart, it deserves a full five stars. I don't need anything decorative and it fulfills what I need it to do. Plenty of room for cables, picks, a notebook, whammy bar, maybe even a pedal. If something changes I'll post an update, otherwise, for the price I really like it.

This case is beautiful, extremely well designed, and sturdy. Very plush black padding, and a very snug fit for my new stratocaster. The black exterior contains double white stitching, with adjacent small white piping creating an excellent color contrast. It also matches the color of my stratocaster.
There are three sturdy locks, that have a substantial snap sound when opening/closing. The case also has protective metal caps, to protect the case when lying down or when standing on its side.
Initially, I was going to buy a less expensive case, but since I would be keeping this for a long time, I thought I should buy a nicer case that would look good,and protect my guitar for a long time!
I'm certainly glad I did!
Also, FEDEX delivered it a day early, and without a scratch or ding!

The product was exactly as described. The key hole isn't meant to be opened with a key; the hole is actually a part of a latch that you just open up. I had problems opening it up so I thought I might share that fact.

UHm, hey mr. straight shooter from detroit, leaving a 1 star review - the item being sold here is a strat case. Not the strat or tele guitar. It's a high quality case by fender to fit their stratocaster and telecaster guitars. Guitar is not included - you supposedly have one (a nice one) and desire a nice case.
Your complaint is like shopping for a wallet and leaving an Amazong review that all the credit cards they display stuffed inside the wallet (to show what it looks like filled) are for John Doe, and are numbered 5555-555-555-5555.
LOL.
