The Fender Starcaster 15 Watt Electric Guitar Amplifier is a compact yet very powerful little amplifier. It can be turned down low enough so that you can barely hear it or cranked up loud. There are two selectable channels, normal and drive so that you can have a nice clear sound or the distortion that a good metal riff needs. The Starcaster 15 Watt amp has an auxiliary input so that you can plug in a CD player and play along with your favorite songs or plug in a drum machine for accompaniment. There is a headphone jack so that you can practice privately. There are separate controls for treble, mid, bass, volume, gain and drive. This is a great amp for a beginner or for someone that needs something lightweight and portable.

5Great Buy  Nov 10, 2008 By T. Troost "baby girl"
I purchased this amp for my daughter for her birthday along with the cordless microphones. This amp is definetly worth the money. Not too big or heavy for child to move around. Sound quality is excellant and works great with the cordless microphone system.

5Small box, Big sound...  May 23, 2009 By Phillip Cordero
This is an awesome amp! It took 2 weeks for the amp to arrive. It is worth the wait. For a small amp, it packs some loud noise, especially with distortion!!! ROCK ON my friends!!! ^_^

3Good Beginner Amp  Jan 27, 2009 By ILUVNOS
I bought this for my wife who is learning to play on an electric acoustic. The size is good and the sound is really clear and loud enough to fill a good sized room. The only reason I did not give this a full 5 star rating is that it seems a bit plastic and cheaply made. As I work with sound equipment all the time the input jack seems cheap and I am afraid that after repeated plugging in and out or if you kick it (by accident) or it falls off from where it is sitting and the chord is plugged in you may break the jack. So I gave it three stars because it is a good light use beginner amp that really does sound great, just weary of the input jack.
