This felt Beater does exactly what it is supposed to do. It's very inexpensive and fits my drum pedal with no issues.

Bought these to replace the wood beaters on my double kick pedal, and I was afraid I'd lose some of the "klicky" sound that I like, but surprisingly, they don't sound all that different, and they're not gonna wear through the drum heads like the wood beaters did. I get some crazy drummers in my basement who like to just beat the heck out of my stuff, and I feel I'll have some peace of mind now... I also added the Evans EQ Double Pedal Patch, Black Nylon to stave off the inevitable for a while.

Can't believe I had the same bass beater for 15 years! This one is great, sturdy and will probably last another 15. I probably should have bought one from my local drum store, but I did just buy a new Zildjian cymbal and was feeling frugal.
