Best bass book! Sep 15, 2008
By Martin Hatlelid I'm mostly a guitar teacher but I have several bass students and this is the best book I've come across. It starts simply but things get challenging right away and the kids have no problem hanging in because it's interesting. The material is well presented and it's not the same old cheesy stuff. They cover all the styles and the songs are cool. Another thing I really appreciate are the tracks on the CDs - all quality recordings by very good players - no cheese here either. This 3 in 1 book is a good bargain too - will last even the most ambitious kid for 2 years.

By Baseball Fan This bass book is the #1 way to go if you want to learn how to play. I learned how to play without any support other than this book. You can teach yourself with it.
TRADITIONAL LEARNING May 15, 2012
By Richard Taylor There is no easy way to learn each note on a Bass guitar keyboard- you just have to bite the bullet and go through the lessons. At least this method produces results.
