Great Design and Execution! Feb 07, 2008

If you're a saxophone player that doubles flute and/or clarinet, you're gonna love this peg for the Hercules stands, which by the way, are awesome stands to begin with. The peg is covered with a plush material that protects your valuable instruments and keeps them from becoming marred. They are easily attached/detached to fit the circumstances of whatever gig you happen to be playing. These guys did their homework before coming to market!

Because I'm a "doubler" I need flexibility. I've used this peg with clarinet, flute, and oboe. I especially like the felt-like exterior and the solid feel of the base into which they go.

This peg fits perfectly into both my Bb and C clarinets, and quickly screws into one of the provided holes in my Hercules DS533 sax stand.
The DS533 holds a tenor or alto sax, and then has two holes that can take two other pegs--flute, clarinet, or soprano sax.
The pegs quickly screw out and the stand folds up into a net package in seconds. The only thing I wish for is a case with shoulder strap for it.

Excellent for building custom instrument stands.
I used this and another (flute/picolo peg) to build stands for family members. Select a wood, use a threaded insert from a hardware store, finish, and voila! a custom stand. Use in multiples for musicians that play more than one instrument during a concert or practice session.
Delivery was also timely and accurate.

I put my clarinet on it. It works. Clarinet is happy on it. I am happy with clarinet on this peg. Clarinet fits on it and is easily removed. Play in a theater pit orchestra. Only difficulty is pit is dark and peg is not easily found sometimes.
