Couldn't be happier! Sep 13, 2011
By J. Gwen Ingram I'm an adult working full time and learning to play 'cello. I've now had this stand for nearly a year. It's sturdy, stable, and keeps both 'cello and bow handy whenever I have a few minutes to play. Because I most often have only short segments of time to play, this is critical -- sometimes I wouldn't even have had time to get the 'cello out of the case and put it back, but instead I CAN play one tune or exercise ... and for every time that a longer span would have allowed for the "case dance", I've played longer because my 'cello was safely at hand. If it wasn't for this stand, I know I would never have progressed this much this fast.

"OKEY"
this was recommended by the cello maker and is really pretty cool = takes up more space than some stands due to tripod legs but very stable and prevents cello body and finish from getting banged up or impacted by the stand

By Evelyn Claiborne This stand is great for my cello. It is lightweight and very appealing. It doesn't take away from the beauty of my cello sitting in the living room.
No complaints here Feb 02, 2011
By play150 I like it. Cello takes up less floor space now, (used to place it horizontally) pretty stable. Doesn't really feel cheap or anything. Cello on a stand looks pretty neat too.
The foam at where the stand comes into contact with the cello (the auto-grab part) deforms after a while though. Does not seem like a big issue though.
