Hohner Inc is proud to announce the release of a truly unique instrument, the Steven Tyler Signature Series Harmonica. Steven Tyler has worked with Hohner Inc. to design a Harmonica to his exact specifications featuring a custom combination of a premium reed plate, custom tuning, a special wood comb, and black & silver styling. The Signature Series Harmonica is shipped in a specially stylized gift box, including a carrying case, and a signed photo of Steven Tyler. This harmonica replicates the exact instrument that Steven plays in performance. It is built to maximize responsiveness and note bending capability, and produces a strong, full tone when played in high energy, high volume context. It is in the key of "A" only, which translates to the key of "E" on a guitar, (which is the favorite key of all guitarists).

3Pricey  Mar 27, 2010 By Mike S.
It's a great harmonica, I wish it came in other keys than A though. I don't know why it costs so much here but you can pick one up at Guitar Center for about $35 and save yourself a bunch of money. Plus: who doesn't love a trip to the Guitar Center?

3Seems like a good harmonica.  Mar 01, 2010 By J. Flood
This seems like a nice harmonica. I gave it as a gift to a 12 year old and he seemed impressed. I did have a couple of issues about it though. It comes in a shiny black presentation cardboard box. The box was just manually taped closed with scotch tape and I had to be very careful removing it to keep it from tearing the paper on the box. The box contains the harmonica and a plastic carrying box/case. The carrying case seems pretty cheap and both items are jammed tight into the display box and were really difficult to remove. I though I was going to break something trying to get it out. I got it for what I considered to be a fair price (40ish) via gold box but the original price was listed at over 600 which obviously made no sense. Amazon said they would look into it, but that it's up to the vendor to set that price. a web search easily turned up an original price of 99 which I could see as reasonable. The price issue is not part of the rating above.
