5Amazing  Mar 20, 2010 By Kareem Hamdi "BeOwned"
I just bought this baby to tune my acoustic guitar and its AMAZING!!! it accurately tuned every string with ease. The red to green back light is bright and clearly tells you when your in tune. This is a must for any acoustic guitarist. Built in mics are inaccurate and are disrupted by ambient noise, and because this tuner goes off vibration you are receiving and accurate reading. Though it can be used with electric guitars I think plugging an electric guitar into your standard chromatic tuner is more accurate.

So if you own an acoustic guitar I highly recommend this product you wont be disappointed.

5This is all you need to know...  Mar 19, 2010 By Chris Lund
This tuner works great, is easy to use and should be standard for all guitarists.
I got this for my new Ibanez acoustic and couldn't be happier. I was a little turned off by the price, but now realize it's worth every penny.
While I know it's just a "tuner," the fact I could pull it out of the package use it instantly without trying to understand the screen, or change any settings, is exactly what I wanted. Again, this is the best tuner ever. Get it, and start jamming.

3iffy quality control  Nov 13, 2009 By janie
Other musicians I know say the PT10 is the one to get, but mine malfunctioned after two uses; the on-off and calibration buttons stopped working. I find that most tuners are hard to use in noisy environments, and the PT10 is no exception, but I wouldn't hold that against it. The small size is great, and when it works it's a really handy piece of gear.

2Jumpy and inaccurate  Oct 14, 2009 By Baron S. Collins-hill
This tuner is very solidly built. It is small and light and the change to green backlight when in tune is an amazing feature. However, I ended up sending back mine because it was extremely jumpy and inaccurate, often telling me incorrect notes and that (on the mandolin) two strings were in tune when they were clearly not. I'm sad to say I am very disappointed with how this tuner functioned. Hopefully I got a dud, but for now I will look elsewhere.

5THE PT-10 DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS  Dec 30, 2010 By RickR
I sympathize with Victor, but disagree with his negative review. Intellitouch states in the "manual" ( one slim sheet ) that it senses 27 Hz--1760 Hz. I don't have anything that will pitch THAT low but all I can say is that Victor must be using it incorrectly. I work in a music store and use the PT-10 on guitars, for which it does and admirable job. Very quick to lock on and very sure. No bouncing around and wasting time. I tried it on one of our cello's and it worked just as well. Also works great on electric bass. So I can state without a doubt that this tuner does everything that Intellitouch claims. Not sure what the above reviewer was doing, but I had no problems with it. I highly recommend it.
