Awesome Add-on! Jun 23, 2011
By AndyT Right out of the box, one head needed a slight tuning, but then they were good to go. The timbales are super versatile and work well for fills or latin beats. Cowbell sounds good too; not too ringy. The only thing I would change is the mounting, the whole mechanism can rotate up and down from vertical to horizontal easily (the drums can't be separated), but I would have liked them to have some lateral rotation too to make it easier to squeeze them in next to my high tom. Either way, I found a configuration that works and I'm happy with them.
