5Excellent guitar strap!  Jan 29, 2010 By William E. Gray
I found this strap to be wonderfully well-made, comfortable and does just what its supposed to do - hold your guitar! no frills, sequins, glitter:) Just a well-made, functional item.

4Great choice. More comfortable than the cheap $5 poly straps  Jan 29, 2011 By D. Jones "Thinker, Warrior, Teacher"
I bought this intending to use it on my Seagull acoustic but tonight I put it on my Squier Fat Strat instead. after getting tired of how raw the existing polypropylene strap -which was about the same price just because it had "Fender" embroidered on it- was making my neck.
When I put this on the electric the difference was immediately noticable even though my neck was still sore from the cheap strap. So I decided to sign in and write this review.

This strap is softer and better made than the poly ones.
It even comes with a string tie for your acoustic, which you might need.

Consider taking my advice: Treat yourself.
$15 for a strap -when guitars cost hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars- is not much.
Besides, the cotton and suede will not scratch your axe...

The only downside is that the strap ends are pretty thick and is very snug on my pegs.
I use c-type snap-on strap locks but they will no longer fit.
Maybe I'll see if the venerable Grolsch strap locks will work.

You can spend more to get wider straps with more padding if you want but do not bother getting something cheaper unless a strap of at least this quality is on sale.

Update: Too snug for Grolsch strap locks on the Squier also...

5perfect  Feb 05, 2010 By W. Clements
Very well made, extremely comfortable, looks good, and holds up my guitar...what else do you want a guitar strap to do?

5Not showy, for the modest guitarist.  Jan 07, 2010 By D. Shoppen
If you're a relative beginner, playing with some real musicians, you will feel more comfortable with this unassuming strap. A strap isn't a vanity, it's a must. You've learned by now, that different seating requires the stability of a strap. Perhaps someday you'll even stand while you play. When that day comes, no one would think you were a big shot if you wear a decorative strap. Meanwhile this humble strap does the job, and goes with everything.

5Quality strap for not a lot of dough  Sep 07, 2010 By Jeffy
The Levy cotton strap is a great value. It's not cheap my any means. The ends are two-ply suede with the cotton webbing sandwiched between them. There is plenty of stitching that it's not going to pull out. Since the ends are two ply, they are stiff enough to really hold onto the guitar without slipping off but not too stiff to make it difficult to put on. I've had a cheap Ernie Ball strap and it doesn't even compare.

The only thing to consider is how low you want to carry your guitar. If you're around 6' the guitar will sit just below your belt-line. If you want it lower then you'll want to get the Levy's Leathers X-long 2 Cotton Guitar Strap,Black.

It's a good quality guitar strap.
