Make sure these strings are the tuning you want they are B F# D A. I wanted standard G C E A.

5Perfect upgrade for my $19 uke.  Oct 07, 2011 By N. Rojas "nefrojas"
I had my doubts about the quality of my entry level soprano. The instrument looks very good for the price but the strings looked like they were only two types. I mean that the fourth and the first were the same string and so were second and third. I decided to try these strings and now my cheap uke is a completely different instrument. I know this for sure because I purchased two identical ukuleles so my small daughter would let me play, come on, they were so affordable. I changed the strings in only one of them and it had an enormous improvement. I can't wait to change the other uke's strings too.
This is a very high quality product. I highly recommend it especially if you are having trouble tuning your instrument and if it sounds just plainly awful, like mine did. My point is: what can you expect for a 19 bucks ukulele? Probably a $1 set of strings. Go ahead and try the upgrade.

Great strings at the right price, I'm in Connecticut and its hard to find good strings up here but these came within 4 days and really do rock.

5The Best of the Lot  Sep 01, 2011 By K. Beach "KRB"
I've been playing the uke since before they became popular again and must confess I own a quiver full of the addictive things (ranging from plywood beaters to a solid wood art object with an electric in between). Over the years, I've tried several different brands of string. The truth is there was nothing wrong with any of them. It's just that the Martin M600 strings seem a little bit more compliant than the others and this allows me to tease out a bit more articulation and tone. Given that string changing is a frequent occurrence with multiple instruments to fuel, the Martin string set's relatively low cost is a nice bonus.

5These strings seem to be pretty great  Aug 11, 2011 By Alexus
I recently picked up the ukulele and these strings seem to be pretty good. I put them on a cheaper ukulele and they made it sound 5 times better. I highly recommend them.
