Great product at a bargain price! Jan 29, 2008

This is a great metronome! It's very compact and easy to use. You can operate it with the audible beep, or you can use the silent flashing LED light. It's also one of the cheapest!
FYI, it does *not* come with a battery (9V).
Highly recommended!

If you need something loud enough to hear over Bach, Wagner, and Stravinsky, this is it!!

Great Feb 06, 2010

My usage for the this product was not for music but weight training. I slow burn train this is when you perform each individual exercise with deliberate slowness. I am able to accomplish this with the Matrix Metronome tempo range and audible beat w/ light or light only.

Simple to use, lacks volume control. Mar 12, 2009

The spinning wheel design is a classic but it's a shame they left off a simple volume control. I end up wrapping the metronome in a towel to mute the loud harsh click. There are now other digital metronomes in the same price range that include a volume control, so the Matrix is a harder sell for those of us who want a less-intrusive background reference.

The sound is way too soft you can't hear it at all while playing on the piano. Not recommend! I returned it right away!!
