Durable Mar 24, 2012
By Roy Durnal My Mighty Bright music light came in the mail yesterday. I took it to the engagement last night where, attached to the music stand, it got knocked over twice by clumsy band members! It still works great after both falls and gets rated "durable" in my book.
The illumination provided by this light is good for a single page of music, chord chart, lyrics, etc. but might not be enough for a two-page chart. It folds up nice and small and fits easily into the bag with my music stand. At the price, I give it 5 stars.
Works well, too bad my bulb burned out Feb 16, 2012

For what it's worth, this light works very well. The pages are easy to read. The clip works fine. etc.
However, the bulb burned out after like five performances, and a replacement is impossible to find locally. I've searched high and low in music stores, auto shops, electrical supply stores, etc. The light is not standard at all. bummer.
Luckily, they are available on amazon.
I'm going to buy a dozen or so, since I miss using this light.
Died after one use Feb 03, 2012
By S. Comiskey This light seemed perfect for live performance. I am a singer with a band and needed to be able to discreetly see the lyrics in a dimly lit bar. The quality of light it produced, and the shape of it were great. Sadly, after the first use, the light no longer worked, even with new batteries installed - again.
Spare Bulb, anyone? Dec 12, 2011
By L. L. Lynn We used this nifty little light for about 10 hours. The batteries held up well, but the light bulb burned out mid-performance. We were prepared with new batteries, not new bulb. Also, it is cheap plastic and needs to be handled very carefully.
We'll continue to use it with a stash of batteries AND bulbs. Also, bought the Might Brite Duet Stand Light. These have LED bulbs and position much better on the whole stand of music. Still made in China and cheap plastic, but will suffice for now.

Nice design, Poor Construction Nov 11, 2011
By Bionica I loved the style of the light, but it was made of weak plastic parts in which breaks REAL easy. The clamp broke immediately and then the switch came apart. Had to hot-wire it to get it to work..It still doesn't work right. Wish they would make it out of good, solid metal parts. It would be the perfect tool for any musician if it were made of good material.
