5Love it!  Jul 29, 2009 By M. E. Mahan
I own a couple of vintage guitars (1972 Gibson Dove and a 1988 Martin D-35)and am very careful about straps, I did not want to install a button and drill through the wood. I found this quick release system wonderful and feel secure using it.
Its simple to use very inexpensive and has lasted over a two year period of constant use.
Highly recommend.
By the way I have not had a problem with strap slipping from my shoulder.

5Easy to use and looks good, too  Aug 04, 2010 By aliensis "aliensis"
I wanted to put a strap on a borrowed guitar to avoid accidents. Since I did not want to alter the neck, I decided to try this. It was very easy to install, and looks neater than laces. I think it's also safer than knots, and can be removed easily if need be. It doesn't interfere with my hand, and I can still leave the strap on when I put the guitar in its case. Just what I needed.

5must have  Jan 23, 2007 By Travis
Every acoustic guitar should have one of these. Much stronger than shoe lace, no knots, quick release, easy to attach, and cheap.
Plastic is not flimsy and looks like it will last a long time.

5Helpful accessory  Jul 11, 2011 By Jeffry
My acoustic guitar, a Yamaha FG 700S (as well as other Yamaha acoustics), only have one strap button: on the bottom of the guitar. Thus, if you wish to use a strap, you will need to either tie a piece of string to the area between the headstock and neck (which could scratch up your guitar and be a pain to constantly tie and untie) or get this product. Its loops are made of a soft nylon that won't scratch your guitar neck and the clip makes removing your strap a breeze. This product combined with the Ernie Ball nylon strap was the perfect length for me right out of the box.

5Worthwhile having on a acoustic guitar  Mar 04, 2011 By Robert M. Porter
I have one of these on each of my acoustic guitars. I leave my straps on my guitars so one of the major benefits of the product I am not taking advantage of. For awhile I had straps beefy enough that I had to remove the straps before putting them in the hard case. These are a good idea for doing that.

The real advantage I find besides them being more secure than the shoestring is they move that strap end away from the fretboard. I find this knot and strap end a distraction.

The three advantages of this product are:

1). Eases removal of the strap.
2). More secure than the "shoelace"
3). Moves the end of the strap away from the fretboard.

It is a great idea. It is well made. I have purposely tried to pull them apart to test it before I put it on the guitar and they are very strong.
