1Cheap  Aug 18, 2009 By Mr. Cornelius
Dont waste your money on this, its cheap and dingy your better off just using a pillow to prop your neck up. Any movement and the thing just falls over.

2Bad design - unstable, keeps falling over.  Sep 15, 2010 By Johnnylighton
If you make any movement (beyond a tiny push) towards the headstock, the stand falls over.

I have the Planet Waves NS capo, the Planet Waves string winder/cutter, and the Planet Waves Guitar Tools iPhone app, and they are all great. I don't know what happened with this Planet Waves product, but don't waste your money on it because it makes string changes and other guitar work a hassle because you're always worried the stand will tip over.

5simple, light, and sturdy.  Dec 22, 2010 By unlisted "Unlistedmoniker"
Wish I have discovered this a few years ago. It does a great job, takes up little space, and is very handy to have around if you tinker with guitars, or just change strings regularly.

4Convenient solution  Jan 15, 2007 By B. Greenhalgh "endergreen"
For anyone who changes their instrument strings on a regular and frequent basis, this device is extremely useful. It's quite small, around 7 inches long. But it has soft rubber to support the neck of the instrument and the rubber feet will keep it from sliding around on most surfaces. I usually lay a soft towel down on my count for body of my guitar or banjo. No more trying to change strings with the instrument on your lap! I left off one star because I would have liked it to be a little taller to keep the neck just a little more elevated, very minor quibble though.

5Great little stand for restringing  Aug 24, 2012 By W. Martin
Sure, it's plastic, but the legs and the guitar neck contact points are a rubber-like material, so it won't slip on you and/or damage your guitar. The legs fold together with a solid sounding snap for easy storage (and to prevent it from getting damaged) It's a great stand for restringing, but if you're looking to do more major set-up or repair work, you might want to look into something with a bit more heft to it.
