My son is in his second year of band. He swears by these reeds. He says they outlast some used by classmates and are very easy to use. At first I though he was wearing them out quickly, but it turns out that he was handing them out to his bandmates because they like them so much. Search well for best price plus shipping as these vary like a commodity, even from the same source.

These reeds were recommended to us by my Son's music teacher and they really do make a difference in his playing. The reeds are high quality and individually wrapped in a "factory fresh humidity barrier package. Reeds sealed at ideal humidity level." That's what the package says.
My kid likes them and that's good enough for me.

This is a very good/sturdy reed. My son was going through reeds like crazy. I purchased these online, and while they were a little more expensive than some other brands, they were still cheaper than the reeds we had been buying locally. My son hasn't been breaking reeds as much since he started using these and the sound quality is great.

These reeds are just a few dollars more than the bargain reeds. Every reed in my first box was good. No duds. I highly recommend these reeds.
